Ing. Eric Samuel Adu-Dankwa
Ing. Eric Samuel Adu-Dankwa is a seasoned and results-driven irrigation engineer with over 24 years of progressive experience in the planning, design, implementation, and management of irrigation and integrated water resources projects across Ghana. He holds an MSc in Water Resources Engineering and Management (2010) and a BSc in Geodetic Engineering (2000) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Physics (1996) from the University of Ghana. His interdisciplinary academic background underpins a deep technical proficiency and analytical capability that have been instrumental in delivering sustainable irrigation solutions for enhanced agricultural productivity and food security.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in project execution, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building within the irrigation sector. He has led and contributed to numerous national irrigation development initiatives, incorporating modern geospatial technologies, hydrological assessments, and climate-resilient practices to optimize water use efficiency and land productivity. His extensive field experience and policy insight have positioned him as a key contributor to the strategic growth of Ghana’s irrigation infrastructure, aligning engineering practice with national development goals.
He is a Professional Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering.
Prior to his appointment to his current position, Ing. Eric Samuel Adu-Dankwa served as the Chief Manager (Director) of the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Coordination Department of the Authority.
Hanan Gundadow Adul-Rahman, Esq
Hanan Gundadow Adul-Rahman, Esq. is a dynamic and results-driven Legal and Procurement Professional with a distinguished career spanning public administration, legal advocacy, procurement, and supply chain management. This professional brings a wealth of experience and strategic leadership to the Authority. He has served as a Metropolitan Chief Executive, providing high-level governance, administrative oversight, and stakeholder engagement in local government development. His tenure as Procurement Manager at the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) further underscores his expertise in public procurement systems, compliance, and contract management.
He also holds a Professional Law Course Degree from the Ghana School of Law and an LLB degree from the University of London.
He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), equipping him with advanced knowledge in strategic sourcing, supply chain optimization, and procurement analytics. His academic foundation also includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana, which enhances his interpersonal, organizational, and analytical capabilities within complex institutional settings.
Professionally certified, he is a Certified International Procurement Practitioner with additional credentials in Sourcing, Procurement, Warehouse, and Inventory Management from the globally recognized Leoron Group. He also holds a Foundation Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), reinforcing his commitment to ethical standards and best practices in procurement.
With a track record of leadership, policy implementation, and operational excellence, he offers a unique blend of governance experience and technical procurement expertise to drive organizational efficiency, transparency, and value for money in public and private sector operations.
